Choson Sinbo is a newspaper published in Japan by the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan. The association is a pro-government body, which practically acts as the North Korean embassy in Japan (the two countries do not have any diplomatic relations). It also runs Korea News Service, a newswire republishing KCNA’s content, but with a much larger archive.
