Informer is a tabloid newspaper known for its full support of the government and the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), a populist party that has been in power in Serbia since 2012. Informer is owned by the company Insajder Tim, whose majority owner is Dragan Vucicevic, its chief editor. He is an open supporter of the Vucic government. According to local journalists and experts interviewed for this report in March 2023 and May 2024, the newspaper receives constant state support in various forms.
