China Youth Daily is a publication managed by the Communist Youth League of China, which represents the youth wing of the Chinese Communist Party. The party is responsible for all decisions related to the management and staffing of China Youth Daily.
Source of funding and budget
China Youth Daily does not make detailed financial information available to the public. The newspaper generates revenue through advertising, but also receives a sizable subsidy from the government, according to local experts and journalists, as well as financial information from the Youth League of China’s latest budget report for 2020.
