National Radio of Cambodia (RNK)

Radio Cambodge was launched in 1946 in Phnom Penh, which was then part of French Indochina. Following Cambodia’s independence, the broadcaster became Radiodiffusion Nationale Khmère (RNK). In 1994 RNK and National Television of Cambodia (TVK) were put under the authority of the Ministry of Information as two different organizations.

RNK is accountable to and administered by the Ministry of Information, in line with legal provisions nailed down in the Sub-Decree No. 70 on the regulation of broadcasting in Cambodia.
