Pyongyang Broadcasting Station (Radio Pyongyang) was North Korea’s radio station, providing services to Koreans in South Korea, Japan and China (an AM station). The station was accountable to the United Front Department, a unit of the Workers’ Party of Korea with responsibility for espionage and propaganda. The station was shut down in January 2024.
