Media assets

Publishing: the daily newspaper Informer.

Online: the portal informer.rs.

Television: Informer TV, which holds a general-programme approval for linear cable, satellite and IPTV distribution, issued by the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM) on 24 May 2023 and valid until 24 May 2031. REM also granted Informer a regional terrestrial licence for Belgrade on 1 November 2024, but Informer returned it in April 2025 and stayed on cable.

In 2026 Insajder tim became a minority owner of Best Media Team, a company that buys local media. Best Media Team was registered on 24 December 2025 and was entirely owned by Alo Media System, the publisher of the tabloid Alo, until 26 February 2026, when Alo Media System came to hold 90 per cent and Insajder tim 10 per cent, as announced by ANEM and reported by 021.rs. By 18 August 2026 the association ANEM counted 12 companies owned by Best Media Team, including local television stations. Info IT Media, an advertising company owned by Vučićević that earlier received project co-financing, has since been dissolved, according to ANEM.

In Montenegro, the Audiovisual Media Services Agency restricted the reception and retransmission of Informer TV for six months, as reported on 25 May 2026, citing Article 7 of the European Convention on Transfrontier Television, and the Montenegrin police banned Vučićević from entering the country, as reported on 26 June 2026.

Ownership and governance

The REM register lists Insajder tim d.o.o., Bulevar Peke Dapčevića 17, Belgrade, as the holder of the Informer TV license, with Dragan Vučićević owning 99 per cent and Damir Dragić 1 per cent. Dragić is the legal representative in the register, and Vučićević is listed as editor. According to the impressum of informer.rs, Dragić is director of the publisher and Vučićević is editor-in-chief, with Dejan Vukelić as deputy editor-in-chief, Milovan Stanić heading the integrated newsroom and Vladimir Tomković heading the portal.

Vreme described Informer in December 2024 as having had an important place from the start in the media system of the government of Aleksandar Vučić, who resigned as president on 27 September 2026 to lead the list Aleksandar Vučić – Ujedinjena Srbija in the election of 25 October 2026. Before the local elections of 29 March 2026 Vučićević toured municipalities and urged people to vote for the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), according to Raskrikavanje as cited by N1.

Source of funding and budget

According to APR financial statements published by CompanyWall, the total revenue of Insajder tim d.o.o., which covers its operations collectively, was RSD 1,191.2 million in 2024 and RSD 1,492.3 million in 2025, with net profits of RSD 85.4 million and RSD 165.9 million, and it had 175 and 183 employees.

Public money is documented by Raskrikavanje through procurement and project co-financing data, which record contract values and funding awards rather than confirmed payments. Informer was awarded state contracts worth about EUR 273,000 in 2024, the second largest sum among six dailies after Politika, including advertising contracts of about EUR 196,000 and nearly EUR 77,000 from the competition of the City of Belgrade, awarded to Insajder tim and Info IT Media together, and contracts and awards worth almost EUR 192,000 in 2025, including more than EUR 100,000 in public procurement and almost EUR 90,000 for three City of Belgrade projects. The largest single advertiser in 2024 was the state lottery Državna lutrija Srbije, and in 2025 the largest contract was with the Vranje city administration, just under EUR 20,000.

APR financial statements (CompanyWall); Raskrikavanje; Cenzolovka via ANEM; Vreme; Nova. Information checked to 22 October 2026.

According to research by Cenzolovka, as reported by ANEM, Informer was awarded around RSD 82 million, more than EUR 690,000, in project co-financing over a decade, the largest amount among the tabloids examined. In the first 100 media competitions concluded in 2026, Insajder tim won RSD 12 million, and Insajder tim, Alo Media System and their affiliated companies together won RSD 98.7 million, according to an ANEM analysis reported by Vreme. Cenzolovka reported in May 2026 that the public broadcaster RTS had concluded contracts worth more than RSD 90 million with six tabloids since 2020, without an amount for Informer, and RTS said that its contracts with Insajder tim date from 2021 rather than 2020, putting the contract value for all the named publishers, including Insajder tim, at RSD 73.5 million net for 2020 to 2025, of which RSD 36.43 million net was realised.

Party advertising is a further source. An audit of the SNS by the State Audit Institution, reported by Nova, recorded three advertising contracts of SNS with Insajder tim worth RSD 13.36 million in the 2022 campaigns. N1 reported that in the Kosjerić local election of June 2025 SNS spent more than RSD 3.5 million on advertising on websites and in the print edition of Informer.

Editorial independence

The Press Council monitoring of daily newspapers found 1,314 violations of the Code of Journalists of Serbia in 805 texts of Informer between July and December 2024, and 1,456 violations in 837 texts between July and December 2025, second after Alo. These monitoring totals are separate from the complaint decisions of the Complaints Commission of the Press Council, which found Code violations in 18 complaints concerning Informer in 2025, as many as for Alo, according to the Press Council. The decisions include a public reprimand of 27 February 2025 over an article on informer.rs of 2 January 2025 that claimed the leaders of the blockade at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences were Croatian citizens and published passport images of the students Lazar and Luka Stojaković, and a public reprimand of 26 February 2026 over an article of 6 February 2026 embedding the film Zlo doba 2 about Veran Matić, president of the ANEM Management Board. Vreme reported on 1 July 2026 that the Higher Court in Belgrade had ordered Informer to pay damages to the students Lazar and Luka Stojaković for false reporting and for publishing their passports, and to publish the verdict. Raskrikavanje recorded 399 false, unfounded or manipulative items on the front pages of Informer in 2025, second to Alo, after 348 in 2023, and the 2025 analysis gives the figure for that year. Informer was also named among six dailies with manipulative headlines in 2023 in the IREX Vibrant Information Barometer for 2024.

Informer has been used to attack critics. The student Nikolina Sinđelić, N1’s Niš correspondent Gordana Bjeletić and N1’s journalist Veljko Pajović are among those targeted, and NUNS condemned the Informer coverage of Pajović on 30 July 2026. The REM expert service found on 7 October 2025 that the programme Kolegijum 2 of 20 August 2025, in which Vučićević showed nude photographs that he claimed showed Sinđelić and that ANEM said were taken when she was a minor, violated regulations, and no sanction was identified. On 30 January 2026 the board of ANEM said that a film aired on Informer, B92 and Prva seriously endangered the safety of Matić.
